Why use scrubbing salt?
Scrubing salt removes the top dead and old skin cells and this stimulates the circulation in the skin. The result is a healthy, supple skin. The skin will take on a fresher tone due to the rubbing motion that stimulates the blood flow of the skin. Be careful when scrubbing just before sunbathing. By scrubbing, you remove the top layer of the skin. This will make you tan or burn faster (the sunburn will be much quicker)

How to scrub?
To scrub, you need water and scrubbing salt or sugar. Wet your skin thoroughly and apply some scrubbing salt or scrubbing sugar to the skin. Rub the scrub in circular movements over the skin. Rub gently (don't overdo it!) and use plenty of scrub. Make sure you rub evenly and not too much at the same place, as this will cause irritation. Use some water afterwards, to make the scrubbing less hersh and to remove it evenly. Rinse the scrub very well with water and that's it! Your skin will now feel radiant and soft again. 

Difference between scrub salt and scrub sugar
Scrubbing salt and scrubbing sugar serve the same purpose: to remove dead skin cells. With scrubbing sugar, the grain is coarser. The sugar melts away and is more suitable for sensitive and dry skin. With scrubbing salt, the grain is finer, but watch out for wounds on the skin! If your skin really needs scrubbing, use scrubbing salt.
